Life Beyond Transition: A Summit on Post-Transition Needs

Genspect invites you to Life Beyond Transition, a solution-focused conference taking place on Detrans Awareness Day, Thursday March 12, 2026, in Washington, DC.

Detransitioners have been misunderstood, dismissed, or treated as inconvenient exceptions for too long. Clear guidance for clinicians remains limited, while misinformation continues to circulate among professionals and the wider public. As a result, meaningful support for those seeking help after medical transition is often unavailable.

This event brings together clinicians, lawyers, teachers, academics, researchers, parents, laypeople, detransitioners, and individuals who regret their medical transition. The aim is to promote practical guidance and compassionate, non-ideological care for those who have been harmed by transition.

At the conference, Genspect will release a draft Detransition Primer. This pioneering document sets out core principles across psychological, medical, social, and legal domains to support those living beyond transition. Attendees will receive a printed copy, included with every event ticket.

Following the afternoon event, there will be an optional evening dinner, for which tickets can be purchased separately.
